Wet Wednesday.....

The rain is beating against the window......the house is quiet.....
There is a chill in the air today........it feels like early autumn....
I wonder where the bees are...........are they safe and warm in their nest.....
I need to be in the garden.....I don't do days like this....I need to be working with the soil....
I need to smell the earth on my hands.....
I need to hear the bees working nearby........side by side, working together......
It will be better tomorrow........the sun will soon be back......
I needed to post.....to be in touch with the garden and the bees and bugs.....
It surprising just uploading these photographs has made me smile......
Yes....it will be a better day tomorrow.................

Cheryl, I love your new header! How perfect. It must be hard for you to be inside not able to be out enjoying your gardens. But take it as a day of rest. Just visit with all of us. Your 'bug' pictures are, as always, wonderful. Such a talent you have. I am always amazed by what you see. Hope the sun comes out soon so you can go out and play.

Thank you Deb....

Hi Beckie......Do you know I am like a caged tiger.....my father used to be the same, we have to be out and doing.
I have got plenty to do indoors but I like to do a bit of everything.....but most of all gardening....I hear those borders calling me......

Hi Cheryl,
I love your new header too! Is that a tiny snail cuddled up inside the petals?
We're having a wet wednesday too, but hot. I do understand about not "doing" rainy days and the need to be outside, hands in the earth, working with nature - instead of feeling cooped up inside.
Your photos are lovely as always.
Let the sunshine in!

Hang in there Cheryl. The sun will shine again and you will be able to get outside.

Hope you got a chance to rest today, but most of all I hope the sun comes out tomorrow. We've had rain the last two days, but it was all sunshine today.
What is that orange bug in several of your photos?

Hi Lisa....There is just so much to do in the garden at this time of year......and I must admit I am not one of life's sitters.....I like to be active.
You are right the weather will change soon.

Hi Rose...the orange bug is a soldier beetle....a good bug Rose...definately a good bug.
I didn't rest....I tidied the shed... and waxed the kitchen cupboard doors. I am not very good at sitting unless I am blogging.....
