Frog post......

"Hey Frank......come over hear.....I've got some news."
"Coming, my sweet."

"Have you seen the woman pottering about in the flower beds?"
"Yes Freda I have, what is she up to?"
"Pop your head over the side of the pond Frank...take a look."

"Hey Freda, very nice."
"Thats not it Frank.....look over the other side."
"Wow two hibernation units Freda.....we've got it made."

"I think we are going to be very happy here dear."
"Me to Freda, me to."

Frank and Freda. How cute. Do they have a last name. If not how about Frogmorton? I don't know where that cam from, but it has a nice ring. Frank and Freda Frogmorton of Sanctuary Garden.

Great looking little habitats. Will they actually use them?

Awe, the frog story was darling! I know you have decided to give this up come November, but you really do have a remarkable gift. I do come here just to spirit myself away.

I like that Baker....Hhhmmmmm Frogmorton...Yes I think so......

The habitat with the toad on top is quite old....it has been used by many a toad......so it has a good success rate....

The other one is new and made my a company that supports wildlife....there is a hibernating shelf inside.......it also protects them from predators......both habitats are extremely heavy so cannot be turned over by cats etc.....we will see.....and of course I will report back as time goes by.....

Cheryl, whilst your photos are superb, this is what we all love you for. Your take on life can bring a smile when there was a frown and lift flagging spirits.
A heartfelt "thank you" for Freda and Frank

I am so glad Frank found Freda and they found your pond and santcuary. And now they will have lovely homes in which to sleep away the winter. Maybe next spring we will hear the swish, swish(that's water moving!) of litlle tails.

Cheryl, I like your new sidebar picture and detail about you. They capture the 'you'-caring of nature and taking the quiet time to enjoy it. Have a great weekend. We have a 3 day weekend because of Labor Day. (some of us have to labor though.) :) I wnr back and read the comment you suggested-do think about that, please.

I think Frank and Freda have found the perfect home! I'm curious how they found it--did they just move in one day or did you ask them to stay?
Thanks for the chuckle this evening, Cheryl:)
