Changes........

I thought I would change the carpet.....I am a tad bored with green....perhaps something multi coloured............
I may buy some wall hangings to............

autumnal colours..............

to cheer up dark winter days............
some new ornaments would be good.........
small and pretty........maybe or............

something larger with a splash of colour.................

I may even treat myself to a new CD.....robin redbreast sings a beautiful melody at the end of the day.................the winter days do not look so gloomy..................I am looking ahead.............

Before the pictures came up, I thought 'how lovely she is getting to redo the inside.' But I am just as happy that it's a change on the outside. I know that makes you just as happy. Lovely carpet choice, and all the accents go so well with it. A must have is the music to set the mood.

Looks like fall has truly come to your gardens and brought beautiful colors and wonderful wildlife. Great post, Cheryl!

Lovely fall post. What are birds in the pictures? I am sure there is a Chickadee, but your birds are all a little (or a lot) different than our NA birds.

I love the new carpeting and wall hangings! The birds look very happy to have found your sanctuary.

Your bird pictures are great Cheryl. Do you have a moorhen romping about your garden? What a treasure if so. They are rarely seen in my part of the country.

I love the colors of your redecorating. Some of my favorites.

I, like Beckie thought you were having your indoor carpets and wall hangings done!
What a fun way to describe the autumnal changes. Loved your birds. They do brighten up the surroundings, don't they?

I loved this post, Cheryl! My house does need new carpeting and could use some decorating, but the owner has been too busy observing the decor outside this summer:) You have excellent taste!

Cheryl, this is how I feel. You brighten my day, you know.

You are very clever. I love the way you are so open...

Beckie.......I thought this post may confuse some....and I am a little naughty I quite like to do that......
I have brought autumn into the house.....I have just finished a dried flower disply for one of my large vases, I like what I have done.......I also like the house to smell of oranges and cinnamon in the winter........lavender for the summer......

Thank you John.....

Rich is the perfect word Dawny....we are fine....you to??

Hi Ruth....we do not have chickadees here......the small bird is a blue tit and the larger bird is a great tit....

Cheryl said...

Hi Lisa.....moorhens are here all the time....with so much water around it is the ideal habitat....I feed them in the copse, as I do not want them to be hurt by Nella......I do most of my feeding there because the area is totally enclosed and no harm can come to the animals.....that was the main purpose of fencing it off. Up til now it has worked well.......

I have a lot of birds in my garden Wendy.....I was not able to photograph them with my old camera.....Mr P has just bought a new lens for me...yesterday was my first try out, so hopefully I can show you a lot of the birds that come here.......

Don't worry about inside Rose.....the spirit lives outside and you will never find such incredible beauty indoors.....
