Tiny people and beautiful thoughts........

I watched little Poppi in the garden today, she was helping to clear some of the leaves........
she was lost in her own little world.............

deep in thought...............

where do you go to my lovely...........

I took her indoors to show her a beautiful gift we had been sent.........from across the pond.............someone had taken time to draw Poppi and knowing my love for her had sent it to me.........

It was sent with much kindness and a loving heart...........the post today is for the lady with our love and thanks................

Dear Cheryl,
I think I know who is your artist!
I think our friend Lisa, from Greenbow, drew the portrait of Poppi! Am I right??
Lisa is a wonderful lady. A friend to the birds, the bees and the butterflies. She is a talented painter too!
Your photographs of Poppi are soft and full of Grandmother love. She steals my heart every time I see her. She looks to be a child that has been given the freedom to be who she is. You are a remarkable Grandmother. The gifts you have given Poppi will sustain her for her entire life.
Hugs,
Sherry

She's so beautiful with those wisps of blonde brushing by her baby blue eyes! And the artist could not resist her and sent you a lovely sketch!

Your little Poppi is such an inspiration Cheryl. I couldn't resist trying to draw her. I was a little heavy handed due to the shadows that were in the photo but it was fun trying. I had never put any color in my drawings before. In the photo I used for reference the main color was her blue eyes. They were such happy blue eyes.

Your photos of Poppi capture her innocence, curosity and beauty, only as a loving Grandmother can feel and we like to see. Thank you for sharing her with us.

Your photos are soft and sweet - just like your dear little granddaughter.
So kind of Lisa to send you her drawing of Poppi.
It must be such fun to teach her all you know about nature, knowing she will treasure your lessons.

Poppi looks like a cherub; she is the symbol of sweet innocence, Cheryl. I'm sure you enjoy every moment you get to spend with her.
I guessed who might have sent you the drawing, but I see Sherry had the same idea. Lisa is so talented; how sweet of her to send this to you.

Cheryl, 'where does she go'? I think she goes to the same place you do when you are in your gardens. To that place where you and nature become one. How wonderful she has the same caring you do. She is a child of your heart and you will share many good times together in the garden.
You've captured her loving nature with your camera. And Lisa captured her inner beauty with her pencils. I know you and Poppi will cherish Lisa's gift. She is a most generous person.

You been awarded, by the way, but I won't be offended if you choose not to participate - I know you don't like being "tagged". xx
