Hi Cheryl,
How's it going down your end, struggling a bit with blogging and gardening at the moment. Should all settle down soon as most of the big stuff in the green space has been done.

Hope you enjoy your special visitor.

Cheers Mark

Leave us hanging!! Cheryl, your flowers are wonderful. The 1st hydrangea is beautiful(I love the pink) but oh my goodness-the 2nd one is ..is... well I can't think of enough words to describe it. I've never seen anything like it! The feverfew 'smile' is just too cute and what an eye to find it. Of course the red campion with the fly brooch is something only you would see. And I just can't get enough of that blue cornflower. Poppi is just a doll, what joys she must bring all who know her. Can't wait to see who the visitor is!

Hi Zvrk....it is good to be involved with our children and to teach them about the garden.
Glad you enjoyed the post.

What a little sweetie! That is an excellent picture of her biting into her apple. The innocence of youth!

Your flowers are beautiful. All of them! I liked your description of feverfew trying to smile. It made me smile!
And the hydrangea is simply gorgeous. I havent seen any two-toned ones like that. They are usually pink or blue or white.
The coneflower is so serene looking, wearing it's elegant shade of deep blue.
Loved this post.
Can't wait to meet your visitor.

Happy Summer Solstice!
Your visitor will be "wowed" by all your habitat for the wild critters, birds, bugs and fourlegged!

Hi Cheryl - a lovely post as ever - I wish life were that simple - with nothing more to do!! I don't think there is ever a situation with a garden where there is no more to do, or am I missing something!!!? Bonne weekend - Miranda

Hi Miranda....the post is leading you to the visitor, everything is set in place for them. A garden is never finished, and you are quite right nothing is that simple.

You perhaps will understand when I post next......

Heavy rain here, hope you are having better weather..

Hi Cheryl - I have been a bit of a bad blogger for the last few days. I too have something I am just dying to share but cant at the mo - but in a few weeks I can tell all xx

I am kind of cheating here as I read your later post first so I know what your secret is and I am so utterly thrilled for you. Not in the least bit surpioswed though as anyone who puts so much time and love into their little bit of the planet as you do deserves to be recognised. More abou this in my comment on the later post.

Oh how sweet is Poppi - and what a beautiful child she is. Just gorgeous xxxx

Ah, I'm glad I read your later post so I know who the visitor was. Everything looks beautiful and no doubt left a wonderful impression.

Your Poppi is adorable - what a lovely picture of her holding the nibbled apple. Beautiful photograph!

Cheryl said...

Thank you Dawny....hope that your secret is as special to you, as mine was to me.
Thank you re Poppi, she is a beautiful child....and I mean spiritually....looks fade, the soul does not diminish, it gets better with age, if it has the right person to nurture it. Poppi has a beautiful soul.....

Cheryl said...

Thank you Kate....I love my dear grandchildren more than words can express.....

I'm a bit late arriving, as usual, so know your secret from the next post. Just loved your witty blogs and marvellous photos. That second hydrangea is a beaut. I've never seen one which such unusual shades and petals.

What a delight to have such a sweetie as Poppi to encourage you to relax.
