Pollenation has been good.......
There will be haws.....to feed the birds when winter days are here.
There will be pears for my table, I will share them with the birds.
I will share the apples with the birds and butterflies. Thank you bees.

I give you overgrown places to build your nests and keep your secrets.
I give you wild roses, whose sweet smell will draw you near. You will give me hips for the birds.
I will give you places to hide when cold winds blow.
I give you wild flowers when there is not much else to be found.
This is not my garden, this is yours. I live in the house......I tend your space.........I share it with you because you choose to stay here. And when on warm sunny days I hear your gentle buzz amongst the flowers, I know it has all been worthwhile.
Celebrate the strength of greenness and its ability to transform us.

Beautifully written, Cheryl--a poem of words and pictures. What makes it special, though, is that I know you mean every word you say. You are a true friend of nature.
Have a good Sunday!

Hi Cheryl,
I couildn't say it better myself, a little helping hand and you are rewarded a thousand times.
The dragonfly you have as a header(brown hawker)was the one that got me into all this photography lark and becoming a dragon hunter.
Cheers Mark
That was a real pleasure to read and look at! Wonderful words to go wit wonderful sights! I just wish that all humans could think like this...
My post today is called Tulips Blips - and I've no idea of the name of them and especially one with an unusual look, come on over and help me identify them :-)

Tku Mark for your kind words.....
Thank you for confirming the dragonfly....I didn't like to ask you as I know you are busy at the moment.
Thank you lifecruiser for your kind comments....will pop over later and have a browse.
A heartfelt ode to the busy bees in your life Cheryl. I haven't seen many bees or butterflies in or around our garden this spring. It seems odd. We should have more. I guess when it actually warms up and dries out some they will appear. I was trimming some blackberry stalks and found a praying mantis egg structure. I hope to see them when they come out.
Hi Lisa....Unfortunately butterflies are scarce here to at the moment. We have had a few but not as many as we usually would.
Would love to see photos of the praying mantis....how wonderful, you are so lucky.
Absolutely beautiful Cheryl, both the photos and the words and even more so because I know it comes from your heart. You are very special xxx
Thank you Dawny....I love the bees, without them we would not have a lot of the food that goes to our table. With numbers falling we need to help them as much as we can.
Dear Cheryl,
Thank you. I forget so often in my taking care and my stewardship to allow Mother Nature to take care of me.
The bees are our dearest of friends. As you know I too dance with the bees.
Your pictures and your words are beautiful.
Sherry
Hi Sherry.....I am sure she can heal us if only we will allow her to.
