Fabulous Friday.

This beautiful moth...the brimstone greeted me at the door this morning. Sorry its not a good image but I tried several times and gave up. Not sure if it was me or the camera, I suspect me. The caterpillar of these moth feed mainly on Hawthorn so I see them often. Decided to stroll the garden and show you how its fairing.
Comfrey is flowering all over the garden and don't those bees just love it.

An early flowering clematis...pretty little bloom, for the life of me I can't remember it's name.

Granny's bonnet, the blue is pretty, and a typical cottage garden plant.

And of course everyone should have a white.....my favourite colour.

Still no slug damage, this won't last surely??

As I walked the garden this robin sang to his sweetheart, singing for the sheer joy of being alive. Have a fun weekend and remember to stop and smell the flowers!!!

Dear Cheryl,
Beautiful flowers. I so adore the picture of the Robin in the flowering tree. So pretty.
I just love spring!
Thank you for taking me on a garden walk about.
Your Granddaughter is darling!

Thank you Sherry...the robins are always a delight but surrounded by flowers cheers one even more.
My granddaughter is a sweet child, and a little girl who is so in touch with nature. It is beautiful to watch her, she adores butterflies.
Hope all is well with you.

Those are beautiful flowers. I wish we had granny bonnets here. Don't think I've ever seen them. You have such interesting plants - and you know quite a bit about each one. I am so glad you are willing to share your info with us. It is nice to peek into somebody else's garden - and yours is so far away - across a whole ocean!

Hi Wendy....I love looking at other peoples gardens. Small, large, or grand they all have the owners mark on them and show us the person. I love the blogs I visit in America and Canada. Its amazing the different attitudes, and the style of gardening. Love it.
My garden is wild, not neat border, it is a country landscape because that is where I live and we should fit inwith it.
