Sunday safari

Sunshine, always follows rain.............

Today services will be held right across the UK to mark the tenth anniversary of 9/11.
This date is written on my heart.   It is a day I shall never forget.
I shall personally have a quiet moment in the day, a time for reflection, a time to think of those that lost their loved ones.      I shall light a candle...........I shall pray for peace.

Hi Cheryl,

Beautiful photos, I love your vapourer moth; I haven't seen one in a few years now but no doubt they're still around the garden.

The tunnel was very dark that day 10 years ago. Hate does terrible things. Love your pictures. That caterpillar is beautiful. I also love sea holly. I haven't been able to establish it in my garden. I will have to give it another try.

I think that date and the terrible events - and where it led to - are seared into a lot of hearts and minds. Too bad the whole world can't just be at peace and enjoy the beauty all around us. Art

Happy Sunday Safari,
I love seeing your bugs....happy bees..
happy blooms....happy gardens.
9-11-01 the skies were quiet for a week while we cried...my flag was torn after I posted it every day for a month. My heart still aches...We must find a way to live in the spirit of cooperation. We must respect all of life...the bees, the birds, the trees, the people....all of life!
Once again you have touched my heart.

Beautiful photos, Cheryl, and a perfect reminder of the beauty in this world. If only everyone could put aside their differences and look for the good in others and the world around them as well. As sad as yesterday was, it made me feel proud to see so many people united in a common bond.

What beautiful photos. Cheryl. So sad to think it's been ten years since 9/11.

I too pray for world peace.
