Thought for the day.

Whatever befalls the earth
befalls the sons and daughters of the earth.

We did not weave the web of life;

We are merely a strand in it.

Whatever we do to the web,

we do to ourselves......................................Chief Seattle 1788-1866.

Bonsoir Cheryl! At the end of a log day of digging - time to relax and see what everyone else has been up to... you've posted some lovely photos of your garden since I last viewed - I think we must have very similar things growing in our gardens!! I've been busy digging away near to the base of our Walnut tree - it's totally choked with Ivy and nettle roots... it's been a real scorcher here today - it was 46 degrees in the greenhouse!! Another sunny day forecast tomorrow and then more rain....... all good I supppose but it's helping the weeds to grow far too well and I can't keep up with it all!! Keep up the good work.. Miranda

Bonsoir Miranda.....I know what you mean about the weeds, they grow faster than the flowers.
It has been warm here, pleasantly so. I to have trouble keeping it all under control, but its fun isn't it!
Take care.

Dear Cheryl,
So very true...Chief Seattle loved Mother Earth.
Your flowers are so pretty.
I am waiting for a storm to come in. I love the energy of the wind.

Cheryl, lovely photos!! And I really like Chief Seattle's words of wisdom. We should all heed them. I posted wisteria today-for you. Enjoy. And I wish I could send some lilac scent. I planted the first of the poppies seedlings today. They finally were big enough, I thought they would make it in the ground. Am giving them TLC.
