Bringing spring indoors.

The weather is still awful, working outside is not possible as the ground is badly waterlogged.
So I've put touches of spring around the house, just to remind me that the weather will settle and we will be enjoying gentle breezes and sunshine soon.

I love daffs Cheryl. Although Richard prefers me to leave them in the garden, I cannot resist having them in a vase on our kitchen table. It really does seem like spring has arrived. They look stunning with a branch or 2 of pussy willow. The world is waking up again xxxx

Pussy willow would look lovely...I will try that at some point. Yes wish it would stop raining so the water could drain away.
Hope you are all well.

I love having Spring flowers in the house - but I have a rule that they don't come in until the 1st of January, however beautiful they look in the shop before then. On the 1st of January the Christmas decorations come down, and I bring in my first bunch of daffodils - out with the old year and in with the new, looking forwards with hope.

Azziria.....that is a lovely thought.

Hi Hedgewitch

Glad you like the daffs. Still no improvement re weather.

Hi Beckie

Will drop by on your friends blog soon. Thanks for letting me know.

Dear Cheryl,
Daffs are very pretty. Mine have not begun to bloom yet. I will also do bouquets in the house. Like you I will bring in those that get bent by the rain or wind.
Your parade of flowers is much futher along than mine.
I just started crocuses!
Sherry
