We have a lot of old plum trees here, and as you can see from the photo they are in blossom. I did see a lone bumblebee amongst the flowers, so hopefully there will be some fruit this year.
The weather has turned really cold, and we have a northerly wind. Hopefully after this cold snap the weather will turn around. March certainly came in like a lion, so I am hoping she will go out like a lamb!

Wishing you the sight of golden daffodils in the sunshine on this blessed Easter weekend!

Cheryl, you are not alone. There are huge snow storms moving through the mid-west and New England states! I'm wondering when it will stop.
Even here in sunny NC, where the days are almost 70, we wear coats in the evenings. Last night, the temps dropped to sub-freezing and bit some blooms.
Sigh...
Hang in there. Stay warm.
Mary
Seeing plum blossoms is a welcome relief from looking at snow. I would love to see the wild primroses ... that must be a marvellous sight! I enjoyed seeing your photographs of the lambs and the rabbit. (I imagine it is frustrating when they visit and eat so much... )
I did stencil the wall - it took countless hours through last summer and autumn. It received several topcoats just before we had our first snow. I'll post more pictures now that I have the new blog going.
Happy spring to you!
Wishing you the beauty of Easter time with the sight of golden daffodils in the sunshine!

Oh Mary.....This weather is just crazy. I will be glad to see the back of it!!!
Hi Kate....I will really look forward to seeing your wall, I really loved it.
Lovely, I do so love blossom it's one of the prettiest things in the garden. My plumtree isn't in blossom yet and with the cold and wet weather we're having I'm not sorry.
Happy Easter Cheryl!
Your blossom looks lovely, your spring is advanced on ours. I am keeping my eye on our cherry tree, it has buds and is about to burst :-) Have a great weekend!
Hi Yolanda Elizabet
I think you are right, we have had wet and cold weather here and it has spoilt the blossom.
Have a lovely Easter.
Hi Chris....With the cold and wet weather we have all but lost the cherry blossom, which is a shame, as it is one of my favourites.
I am hoping the plum blossom will last a bit longer.
Have a good weekend.
