Thunder storms and sunny days.....

We had terrific storms during the night........for two hours they raged above the house...........some of the thunder claps were so loud I thought the house would split in half....but I expect this old house has seen far worse..........I awoke to sunshine and a lovely warm day......
the rain clung to the plants, beautiful droplets......
they always remind me of teardrops.......

A tiny spiders web was decorated with a few diamonds...........I think the spider will need to repair his web.......

A hoverfly sits and thinks of the day ahead.......
a butterfly joins in.......decisions, decisions.......

Bees are working already.....
and seem to be enjoying the fact that it is warm
And that there are plenty of flowers to choose from.......
And a fairy danced and danced.......just happy to be free......
And this little chap did what little boys do best.......rolled around the lawn and got messy!!!!
Happy days........

Dear Cheryl,
Tears of sadness mingled with tears of joy bring children's laughter to your gardens. I too still twirl...just slower.
Thank you for sharing your joy.
Your photos are lovely.

Cheryl,

This is an awesome post. I enjoyed all of the flowers and insects. Raindrops on spider webs make a beautiful photo.

The fairy dancing is exquisite and the little boy getting messy is delightful.

Thank you for visiting my Writing Nook. I hope you will stop by again soon.

Blessings,
Mary

Cindy's comment is so true--this does read like a storybook. And there's a happy ending with the prince and princess at the end:)
Your photos are remarkable, Cheryl. I love the effect of the raindrops on the flowers and spiderwebs. I don't like storms, but the rain makes everything seem fresh and clean afterwards.

Cheryl, I have to agree with all-your photos are wonderful as is the narrative. Glad you didn't have any damage from the storm. Aren't the fierce storms awe inspiring? Your grand children know how to celebrate a warm fresh day don't they! Have a great weekend.

Cheryl,
Your little fairy knows how to make the most of that lush green expanse of lawn... she is beautiful. Loved the raindrops... especially on the spider web. We have daily thunderstorms here that move across from the gulf waters... we never know how severe they might be.

Have a great weekend.
