Sunny Monday........

Woke up to sunshine today........after several days of rain it was wonderful to see blue skies again. The summer house is more or less finished...........
I have put troughs either side of the door......and planted them with miniature roses and ivy.......
this one has a few cyclamen as well..........

Look the doors open why don't you come in and take a look.......

sit down, put your feet up, I will make a nice cup of tea.....cake anybody??

It took me ages to decided where to place the summer house.......
I am pleased with the way it has turned out
It will be a fun space.
The weather brought the insects back to the garden, in small numbers, but at least they are back......

Lots of white butterflies hiding in the grasses........
and to my delight the bees returned.....
lots and lots of bees.........
Hopefully the sun will stay for a while............

I will not be around for the next two weeks, so this will be my last post for a while, also I will not be able to visit your lovely blogs.....................will catch up with you all when my life is back to normal..............have fun out there..........

Your summer house is beautiful! I love the window boxes you've added. I know you are going to enjoy spending time here--you'll be able to see your garden in all directions. I would love to share a cup of tea with you here:)

I, too, hope you are going on a trip, Cheryl, and have some time to relax and enjoy yourself. We'll miss you!

I add my wishes that your absence is due to a holiday and that you will have a glorious time. But to leave your beautiful garden house and your gardens-it must be difficult for you. The bees look like they are enjoying all the sun and flowers. They are probably doubling their efforts for the coming winter. I will miss you!!

I too, love your garden house. The roses and ivy in the window boxes are lovely. What a wonderful place to sit and enjoy nature, friends, a cup of tea, and maybe a book on a sunny afternoon.

Hope your time away is a relaxing holiday.

Your summerhouse looks great - cake sounds wonderful... you'll need to give us directions! Hope these next two weeks go well whatever you're up to... and that the warm sunny weather is here to stay - it's been equally nice here which is keeping me busy with outside painting of our window frames! :-) Miranda

What a beautiful summer house! Now if only summer were around the corner. Ah well - we'll just have to wait.
Your house looks so cosy and comfy, the flower boxes delightful. I hope the roses last a good long while - ours would die over the winter.
Have a wonderful time away, Cheryl. I hope you come back to your sactuary rejuvenated and happy. I'll miss you!
Hugs.

I've heard of very wet weather this summer. Luckily we went to Croatia for three weeks (of glorious sunshine).
Your summer house might turn to be a good plac eto hide from rain though.

You are surrounded by beauty, inside and out! I love your summer house and your photos are so nice... I see you still have plenty of bees to keep you occupied.

Have a wonderful time away.

Cheryl: Yes, I'll have some cake... and some tea ... and some time to sit and chat a while. Beautiful, Cheryl, a perfect spot for a summer house. The view from the inside out is superb as is the view to the inside from the outside... the window boxes are perfect.

I've had a lovely time catching up with you, Cheryl since my return from UK and then the internet going down for 5 days.

What a lovely space you have created for yourselves and if you get that Indian summer, it'll be a cosy, warm evening area to enjoy.

Have a fun fortnight, wherever you are, and may the sun shine bright upon you.

Fantastic photographs of the Bees, they always bring back lovely memories to me. I hear there's a disease that's threatening some species of bees.
