Small Copper?


This pretty little butterfly visited the garden last
year, I believe it is a small copper. Can anyone
confirm that?
You can see why I grow verbena, it attracts so
many bees and butterflies.

Sorry I can't name the butterfly, Cheryl: it looks a beauty.

We've done all we can to encourage the bees and butterflies. 3 buddleia in, and now a hardenbergia which the black wooly bees love. Sadly, few butterflies last summer and I hope it will be better this year.
