Dear Cheryl, These photographs are very, very beautiful! Do you know the names of the butterflies? The colors on the first one are outstanding. Your headed speaks to me of Summer! I too love wildflowers! I garden for the butterflies and birds and bees too. It is so nice to know you also are caring for the wildlife. Thank you for these pictures. Hi Sherry Yes I know all the names of the butterflies that come here. The first one that you liked is called the peacock. I get lots of them here because I leave a nettle patch in the corner of the garden, they lay their eggs on them. Thanks so much for visiting.

Thank you for letting me know the name. There is a Peacock butterfly in the U.S., not in my area, and it looks very different! I am excited to see your bees too. I love the bumble bee.. Hello ... the banner is fabulous!
Love this post, very inspiring .. been thinking (and posting) about wildlife gardening today
can't do much as my garden is on the roof and consists of containers(!) but I do what I can :-)

I am more of a vegetable gardener than a wildflower gardener - although we always keep the wildlife in mind and don't use chemicals ...
