Gods Lace.......

I walked along the garden path, early on an autumn morn,
Looking at the flower display greeting the misty dawn.

I chanced to see a spiders web, what beauty there to see,

Dew drops gently clinging to the lacy filligree.

A sudden shaft of sunlight burst out through the mist,
The spiders web was jewelled, the flowers all sun kissed.

Standing looking at the web with its irredescent glow,
Fine lace by mother nature, that God helped her to sew.

My photographs.......
Mums poetry.........
Artwork by the little creatures that live in the garden....................

I knew this had to be your Mum's poetry--so beautiful! What breathtaking photos, Cheryl; the spiderwebs are just amazing. They truly are works of art. Your garden is always such a serene place to visit.

Thank you Rose.....Mum has no confidence when she knows I am going to upload her poetry....for someone of 81, who had no education she does so well.......

A great collaborative effort Cheryl. You are lucky to have such a talented Mum and busy lacemakers in your garden.

Cheryl, how individual each web is. I never really have noticed the differences before. Your Mum, bless her heart is a wonderful poet. To be able to see and then express what you see is a talent few have. And of course you have the artist's eye with your camera! I can take pictures of the obvious, but you...well I am always in awe of how you see things.

I love your new header. Autumn at it's finest. You have been on my mind these past days and I have been sending good thoughts your way.

Dear Sherry.....I am so glad Mum's words touched you....I will tell her, she will smile.....
She gave me the most beautiful letter on Monday.....it was so very touching......and just what I needed at that time.....

Thanks Beckie....it is always so nice when you get good feedback....I can tell you now Mr.P has bought me a new camera....I am not technical.....I used it for a couple of days, hated it so much I put it back in the box and forgot about it.....Then Sherry helped me, she told me to just walk around the garden and try to get used to it.....I have done that, and the photos you see are taken with the new camera.....anything technical, I am not a patient woman........give me someone to care for and I have the patience of a saint.....

Tku for thinking of me....I have always believed if someone thinks of you they help you to heal.....no matter how far away people are, it brings them close.....

Very pretty webs, and lovely words too. Dew touched webs are some of the most beautiful pieces of "artwork".
