but she is fragile...................little people are learning to respect her......
by only taking what you need to eat......
to appreciate that without bees we would not have food for our table......
to appreciate that without bees we would not have food for our table......
that there is much joy in receiving.........
we need to nurture ..............
and care for the world we live in.........When we work with nature, we sleep more sweetly........
as do those, that have followed around the garden
And sometimes Mother Earth has her own way of saying thank you at the end of the day.............

i know you are enjoying your little poppy and the freshness she is in your life.
What a lovely post! I am so touched. Thank you for this inspiration for my day.
Hugs,
Cindy
Cheryl, what a beautiful post! That sunset was glorious!
You do have a darling granddaughter. How lucky she is to be brought up to respect and love all of nature.
Brings tears to my eyes.
What a beautiful photo essay, and such a good message. Your granddaughter is so very sweet.
Dear Cheryl,
Poppi is a treasure. Someday she will have the water from her grandmother's garden to prime her pump.
You have taught her the ways of Mother Nature so that there is always prosperity. Greed is what has caused so many heartaches lately. There is more than enough if we care and are respectful.
Lovely pictures.
You are a true steward.
Thank you for sharing your darling.
Hugs,
Sherry
Cheryl, this is the most beautiful and moving post you have ever done! Poppi is so precious, and the sunset photo is the perfect ending. I think the little ones today are learning how important it is to protect our earth, but the best way for them to learn is by example. You are providing an example of nurturing all of nature that she will never forget.
Dear Lisa....both of my grandchildren are more precious to me than life itself...they are do dear sweet children and that is down to their mother.......I am very lucky......
Dear Marmee....tku...little Poppi is just three.....you are so right we are truly blessed......they bring joy and inspiration.....
Dear Wendy....we have so much to help them with......I am just trying to pass to pass to them the knowledge that I have and hope that the little seeds I plant will grow.....
Dear Sherry....thank you for your comments.....I know that you and I always have the same thoughts about Mother Earth.......I am priviledged that I see my grandchildren regularly...I hope they learn from me.......most of the work I do here is for them......so that they will always have a beautiful space full of little creatures......no sprays here to hurt or make them ill.....
Dear Rose.......I have always believed that If we start at a very early age, children will absorb the information so much better. The environment is an issue so close to my heart and it is for my grandchildren I worry. The future holds many unknowns where out planet is concerned.....
What a wonderful and comforting post. Makes me feel better just looking at the photographs.
Cheryl, what an awesome and wonderful post and your pictures are so beautiful, as always. Your Poppi is so precious! I am thankful that you have such a sweet little granddaughter. She is also SO very blessed to have you for her grandmother, to teach her the love of nature!
You are taking marvelous photos with your new camera, and all of your past pictures have been great also.
Bless you. Grace :)
A precious little one exploring and discovering nature with you, Cheryl. Such a joy our grandchildren bring to our lives and I know I am so much more patient with mine than I was with even my own children. I take time to let them help me in the garden and they are learning as you described.
Beautiful post.
meems
