Five things I love about where I live.

This is the view that greets me every morning across the lane. Lambing time is nearly here, and if you really want spring photos you must come and visit because I will be taking pics. My house is surrounded by farmland and I love it. I am at heart a city girl, born and bred in London. I will always have a place in my heart for that great capital of ours. BUT this is where my soul is, in the peace and quiet of the English countryside. It is a totally different way of life that I have fitted into very nicely.

I like your description and photos of the land behind where your live.

I was born in a small town and our back yard and privy was against a farmers field. So that was the life for me for many years and I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for your visits.

Cheryl, I absolutely Love the pictures!!! What fun it will be to see the baby lambs cavorting. And the woods and church. Such history! I am envious! But then we tend to think the grass is always greener...don't we?

I love lambing season when all the little ones are out in the pastures! I can't wait to see the photos that you share.

Thank you for your kind words that you left at Rosehaven Cottage. I know that what you said is very very true!

Hugs,

The sheep farmers round us are from the 'old school' and actually don't lamb until March/April unlike further down the road when it all starts in Jan/Feb!!!!

Cheryl, had to come by and see the sheep! They're way too shy...

I'm a city girl, too. Grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. So any bit of country I see is so appreciated. You're fortunate to live on a countryside! I'm still living very close to the urban side :o)
