Mallards.

Despite the torrential rain and winds of 60mph, this pair of mallards didn't seem a bit bothered. They came into the garden to feed early this morning. Perhaps that saying is true "Nice weather for ducks!"

Cheryl, I wondered how you faired during the storm. I hope all is well. The ducks seem happy!

Not too bad at the moment Beckie....we are expecting another battering in two hours.

Second wave of storm is on its way here now. Overnight not too bad for us just loads of rain dashing against the window panes and keeping us awake but thankfully no damage. Hope you are ok over in the south east! Stay safe :-)

Hi Chris...have been thinking about you. We have had torrential rain and very strong winds. We are very exposed here so I am keeping my fingers crossed. We are expecting a second storm, like you, in a few hours.

You stay safe to.

It looks pretty similar out of my kitchen window, Cheryl .. the car park is kind of underwater. Very glad we live on 1st and 2nd floors, today!

Hope things aren't taking too much of a battering? Will be thinking of you.

Don't feel any obligation to do this, but if you're interested then I'm tagging you (don't blame me .. nutty knitter started it!):

Rules are:
1. Link to your tagger and post these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

Something to do on a wet afternoon, anyway :-)

It certainly is good to be up high when conditions are like they have been today. And there is more rain to come tomorrow, great.

Please don't be offended but I lose the will to live with things like the tagging game. Sorry to be a bore!!!!

Not at all, Cheryl!

I know what you mean, I don't usually do these myself but was bored :-)
