Cheryl, I'm guilty for ratting on Starlings. They are feeder hogs. LOL! But I have taken some photos of those golden-flected backs that show a very beautiful bird. I wonder why they seek out feeders around here when there are plenty of open fields for them to pluck grubs and other insects. Actually, I only have about six who visit my feeders at once. So, I'm lucky I don't have 100 at a time.BTW, I've never seen a magpie here. They're stunning.
They are greedy but mine seem to prefer the lawn to the feeders, so perhaps I am lucky. Perhaps your food is more tasty than the grubs in the fields!Magpies are stunning.
I think they are very amusing birds be it a bit noisy. ;-) Great pic!
Hi YolandaNoisy they most certainly are!
Dear Cheryl,I am at peace with the Starlings. Your Magpie is stunning!None at my house but my daughter used to see them when she lived in Colorado.I am enjoying your birds!Sherry
I am glad you are enjoying the birds, Sherry. I always enjoy yours. My husband is very taken with your beautiful red cardinals. Red is his colour.
