THE BEE AND ME.

Found this bee on the drive (6.30 a.m.) this morning. Caught out by the bitterly cold wind late yesterday afternoon, it was barely moving and close to death. I carefully picked him up, took him indoors, placed him on an old plate, and gave him some honey.

Cheryl, Happy belated Mother's Day!
You are such a kind soul. While I don't kill many things..spiders and flies in the house being the exception, I'm not sure I would have been brave enough to pic up a bee and nurse him back to health. Good for you. I loved the tree blossoming! So spring. Have a good day.

Hi Beckie
I have nursed many a poorly bee back to health. A bumble won't sting unless he is under attack. I am sure Gods creatures know when its friend or foe.

Thank you re: mothers day.

Dear Cheryl,
Sweet bee! I am happy you were there to help bee! I have never found a bee needing warmth and honey. I will keep my eyes out as our temps have once again dropped.
A kiss to bee from me!
Hugs to you and cheers!
Sherry

Hi there!
Well we suddenly have snow again, but for the past two weeks have been sitting on the terrace at lunch time with our aperitifs and salads! Now we are back to snow boots and soup with cheese on toast!
Thanks so much for posting your beautiful photographs. The bee on the honey plate looks adorable and who would not want to care for one having seen this inspiring picture. I'm going to keep my eyes wider open in the hope of spotting a bee in need of TLC. Thanks again for the awareness raising.

Bees often need help this time of year when temperatures are unsettled. I too am glad that I was able to help him.

Thank you for visiting Sherry.
