this cute little blue tit spent half an hour today taking bits and pieces from a hanging basket liner
obviously for nest building. He tugged and pulled, and pulled and tugged until he got the piece out that he wanted. I hope is keeps their chicks snug and warm.

i'm having trouble trying to capture the bluetits on our feeder.. they don't sit still long enough for me to get a photo!

I know they buzz around so quickly don't they, hedgewitch, I had watched this one for ages as soon as I got the camera out wooosh he was gone. He did come back though and I just took a quick snap, hence why it is a little blurred.

Cheryl, fascinating photos as always! We are getting a down pour today and tomorrow..chances for flooding. But not to worry, we are pretty safe right here. I am going to keep tabs on you, Lisa, and the bee saga. I find it very interesting!

Birds work SO HARD. I'm amazed at their strength. That's why we feed them. Your photos are great.

Hi Mary....In this changing world of ours they need all the help they can get. Its good for us to, we need to keep in touch with nature, to nourish our souls.
