I never know if they are rooks or crows, but they are big, black and they are eating all the food I put out for the small birds. I had at least twelve in the garden this morning. Two of them have been renovating the nest they used last year at the bottom of the garden. Enlarge and you can just see one of the ? sitting in the nest having a tidy up.

Those naughty Crow/Rooks eating all the food. Here I would say they were Rooks because the Crows here are so secretive about their nests you rarely see one.
